What to expect:

Come together with other researchers, practitioners and artists to explore a critical turn in neurodiversity theory and research across the globe, building a movement that departs from narrow, medicalised models of neurodiversity and instead centres arts, humanities, and liberatory social theory. With over twenty panels and 80 speakers, the conference marks an essential calendar event for medical humanities research.

Who can attend?

The CNSC is fully hybrid to encourage international participation and to ensure that it remains accessible and inclusive of those who might find attending in person difficult for health, financial, caring or geographical reasons.

Attendance is free and we welcome participants from everywhere, not just those who identify as medical humanities researchers or who work within formal university structures.

How to register:

Registration for the CNSC takes place via Eventbrite. You can register for any or all days of the event – online from the comfort of your home or in-person, fully immersed in the 3-day programme. The complete confirmed schedule and timetable, along with links to virtual sessions will be circulated in due course.
